I'm looking for recommendations for a kitchen mandoline (not mandolin like the musical instrument).

De Buyer seems to be the heavy hitter, literally and figuratively at almost 9 lbs. and about $180-200.

Any recommendations for something a little cheaper, but still good quality?

Well, I only bought the super because I'm overcompensating for a small penis.

I'm not sure which model Matt has.

I have a Bron mandoline and love it. It's wicked sharp, and I always wear a cut-proof glove when I use it.
