I love white watches with white or silvered dials and blued hands, and thought I would post some with the hope of starting a reference thread.
Please add your selections.

My 2 favorites are the
Dornblüth Center Second

and the
IWC Portuguese Chronograph

as well as the sadly discontinued Omega Aqua Terra and Seiko Diashock Automatic SCVS013 (below).

Some others (not all of which I like, and obviously not all the hands here are actually blued, some are painted):

This is easily my favourite type of watch. Along with a Seamaster AT I have a Longines Master Collection (although the crappy iphone pic makes the hands look black, which is not the case).

Also, Chronoswiss has some really nice versions, I'm especially fond of this type of watch with the Moonphase complication.

These are my own macro shots of my IWC Portuguese. The blued hands and indices are fantastic!

Very nice pictures! Love the IWC's, both the Auto and the Chrono are fantastic. How thick is the Automatic?

Probably right, it's certainly a handful. But it never feels overpowering on the wrist. However, I never wear this with dress shirts. (Hell, I'm a professional geek, I don't even wear shirts to work.) But it's the perfect watch to pair with a nice cashmere sweater around the house, relaxing in front of the fire or eating sunday dinner with your family. I have other watches for work, outdoor activities or festive occations, this is the watch for the quiet days. I like hearing the Pellaton mechanism wind the watch

Which watches, if you don't mind the question? Your particular Portuguese model is one of my absolute grail watches, and I'm just curious what else you might have in your collection to round it out.

I am partial to Rolex, if you follow the "watch p0rn" thread you'll se a few of them there. Contemporary and vintage. They are good for everyday wear, work, sports, everything. I also enjoy vintage Heuers. As dress watches I wear my late father's 60s Certina and a 60s Omega Constellation "Pie-pan". I also have a Panerai and an IWC Pilot Chrono, these are probably on their way out. I think. As well as the TAG Heuer Monaco. Some Omegas, the vintage are permanent, the rest in transit maybe. I don't have a collection as much as a hoarded bunch of watches

"Well rounded" has never been a consideration. I buy what I like, what I loose interest in gets sold. I am neither rich nor particularily sofisticated in my lifestyle, just a scandinavian computer geek with a bit of cash to spend and and equally geeky fascination for mechanical watches. Right now I am seriously considering selling a whole lot and getting a Patek, tomorrow I might take it in another direction altogether. The journey is the destination, or something

Not my intention to highjack this thead btw.

I see, 14 mm is around the same as for the Longines I have. I'm thinking about replacing it because it is a bit big (mostly thick) on my wrist. It is 44mm wide and 14mm thick. I might go for the Chronoswiss instead, since Moonphase is my favourite complication, and it is only 38mm which I find perfect for a more "dress-alined" watch. I also like the "onion-crown".

The IWC 3714-17 is definitely a watch I will buy someday, I love the blue on white. I might even buy it next.

I thought I saw it on your list but there's some JLC masters with blue hands.

This Seiko Spirit was recently discontinued, but one occasionally pops up on the NOS or used market.

This one's a bit harder to find.

Naturally I decided to get this a month after they had all disappeared. If you ever come across a NOS I would love to hear about it. TIA.
