Just a man with either a lot of bad luck or good luck, depending on how you look at it. After escaping Vietnam, he got stuck in Cambodia. After escaping that, he ended up in Iran and worked in Chinese restaurants for a while. Then the Iranian Revolution hit and he had to run to a different country. He settled on some place that was sure not to have civil strife - Canada.

The problem with diving is that it's an environment very rich in stainless steel & sharp corners. I scratched a sapphire crystal on a dive boat.

Fair enough but what about the fact a dive watch only shows elapsed time, not depth? I wear a computer on my wrist and carry a back up in my dry suit pocket.

Anyhow, will stop posting off topic. Post your dive watches!
