Yes of course. Lets put it this way - what is the most time you've ever spent thinking about what to wear?

isn't that assuming that people in fashion are normal? i'm not in fashion but i am in food and i'll bet if i told you the amount of time i spending wondering what i'm going to cook/eat, you would be utterly dismayed. we all have our obsessions.

It isn't easy to work out what an answer should look like. If you have a simple wardrobe and work in a moderately conservative environment, matching should be easy. If you have a lot of bold patterns which you wear on a regular basis, matching might take more time.

Many of us complicate that. We don't have just one solid navy tie - we have a small threads knitted version, a chunky knit, a herringbone, a silk, etc.

Whnay, are you taking into account the time you spent deliberating what to get made up, the exact fabrics/cut, trips to tailors? The time spent on SF and other sites, looking at books and magazines, getting an idea of what works for you and what doesn't? The education and making-up was ultimately a part of the dressing process leading to what is probably a fairly cohesive business-friendly wardrobe in which you feel choices come easily.

I like these two. They don't look too put together like the rest of the cult, and crucially their clothes look as if they've been worn for a while: In other words, they didn't buy everything new specifically for the Pitti peacock parade.
