What are some good watch models to wear with a NATO strap?

To jump on the question, I have wanted to experiment with a NATO strap on my seamaster.
I think I have seen PG use the NATO straps quite well on his blog.

Here is my vintage Tiffany's diver on a NATO:

I also have this Hamilton on a NATO as well:

I think "sporty" watches like divers and chronos look good on NATOs.

Any watch with a military background/inspiration, divers and generally speaking most sport watches with a black face.

Rolex Submariner can also look good on a NATO strap. That's how James Bond wore his Rolex...

Is that your watch? I like the strap. Wonder how it will look with the seamaster.

If you're looking something that is a little more affordable you could go with a Seiko diver.

Yep, that's one of my watches. I think it will look pretty good on your Seamaster. The blue stripes would probably match the blue bezel and dial pretty good. The yellow stripes would add some contrast.

This thread provides some great examples of why I absolutely hate fatass bling watches.

How do you guys wear watches wider than your wrists?

The bracelet is okay but it would also work with a NATO strap.

That is an optical illusion. If you look hard enough, you may actually spot the watch.

Perhaps, but I'm finding the shirt an unnecessary distraction from the question at hand. Let's get rid of that and then take another look, shall we?

Yea, where did you get it from? I see the posts on TZ often but I don't play with the bands of my watches so I tend to ignore them.
