this is why makers house style and foot shape is important IMO

I thought I would do my part to this thread...
Here is a pair of bespoke shoes I got a few months agoo. I am sure you can guess witch one

very happy with them...sort of DECO like in their shape..maybe you could say they were ahead of there time and now time has cought up.
The pic was taken by the maker before they were polished and the seatsock put in....(I couldnt wait to see them.)

i think the deco shape is something that G&G have made on and off from the start as looking back at my first pairs of G&G bespokes they have very simular lines to the deco last

it is just that over shinning shoes and photos dont really blend well

interesting shoes BTW

it's more homegrown. our craftsmen are capable to implement the various style influences. a fact which is unfortunately fairly ignored on sf.

Except for the toe cap "” yes. I might go with a bit less stitching on the next pair but generally I am very satisfied wih the outcome. Most shoe uppers are way to fussy for my tastes.

then you should have just done it without the cap but a faux cap then or have a look at the G&G hanly as a concept
