when you 'merkuns are in hong kong or china, do you tip when you eat out?
I usually do a minimum of $2 or 10%, whatever is more.
This. Although I tip 20% when the weather is nasty.
You've obviously never been a server.

I tip them, but it's still something to think about.
If I order for 2, generally around $16-20, my tip will be in the $3-4 range. I'll always give a minimum $2 even if the delivery is fairly late. If the guy gives me an attitude while still being late, he gets to keep whatever change is leftover.
I worked in a Chinese restaurant once with FOBs. The waiters would be pissed when they get stiffed on tips. They expect the tips as much as white people. Jesus, how is this even a question?
I always tip as I would in a restaurant, 20%. I mean, hell, the guy schlepped it from the kitchen to my house.

Yes.
Driving to your suburban locations in a car is a bit different from walking or cycling in the freezing cold, rain, sleet, hail, snow, blistering heat etc on the heavily trafficked streets of NYC...
I've delivered in a car and on a bike. Neither are as hard as being a server.
