i'm sorry folks but vodka martinis are not a martini. martinis are made with gin.
that being said...
my standard monday martini even though it's thursday. tanqueray rangpur:lillet in about a 6:1, a few dashes of angostura. olives on the side.
trying to decide on what's next...

that's why it's called a VODKA martini because it uses vodka instead of a gin in a martini. he didnt call a vodka martini a martini. such pretentiousness over a simple cocktail

Last night was 22oz Ballast Point Sculpin, followed by coupla' fingers of Woodford Reserve rocks w/ just a splash of branch water.

Jeff, I bet you cringe when people say "shrimp scampi", don't you? Or when they use segue as a verb? Because those motherfuckers are ignorant, aren't they? And you want to teach them, you want to show them so badly it hurts. But consider this, O' Lord of the Lexicon, Dictator of the Dictionary, Viceroy of the Vernacular, if everybody knew that, if everyone knew how to speak the proper way, the way you speak, how the hell would you make yourself feel better? Did you ever think about that? If everyone spoke like you, just how would you differentiate yourself? How would you handle that? Did you think about that?
So keep protesting, bro, keep fighting the good fight, changing hearts, changing minds. But just know that, deep down, this really isn't a fight you want to win.
