Damn, I figured Forest was gone - I hadn't seen him the last few times I was in there. Glad I got my suit alterations out of the way before he retired. Good to know he's still kind of around, though.

Ya, I found out about Forrest when I first went in a few months ago. I had heard rave reviews. I would say the experience was so so. I wanted the buttons moved on the cuffs of many shirts, and some shirts slimmed down. I tried a few on and they said they would make the rest fit the same, to varrying degrees of success.

On another note, where should I get my shirts cleaned. I have been going to Page, they are ok, and I do not even know what the price is. They pressed the **** out of my suits so they look like pancakes, not too happy about that. I live downtown. I heard there is a place at or near Whitemud crossing that is a buck something a shirt. But I can not find it.

I got some groupons or living social or something to the cleanery, but they want almost 4 bucks a shirt, so I will save that for suits.

For the moment. I'm here for work until the 31st of January. Then to Coquitlam, BC. Originally from the Toronto region, Burlington, specifically.

I've seen two 'SF approved' (as far as SW&D goes) guys in Edmonton so far, makes me wonder if they're members or not.

Seat's just get in the way in a Great Big Sea concert.

They did a free show at the Saskatchewan centennial a while back. It was in the park in Regina .. one of the best show's I've seen.

^^^Yea, I don't know why they get the venues that they do. It needs to be open/standing room only as opposed to a bloody auditorium.

Clear all the douchebags out of oil city or on the rocks and have the concert there.

For the guys complaining about tailors....

Try Maggie on 23rd ave, she's quite competent. Also, Kim (if I remember her name right) at Royal Tailor on 99th street is really good.

Tony is alright, nothing special. There's also a few great tailors who work out of their houses, but hard to find unless you get a referral.

Edmontonian checking in here. Studying at the U of A!

Anyone have any recommendations for cobblers here? My fiance stepped through a metal grate in her Choos and "rolled up" the leather on the heel... Looks like a simple stretch back down with some adhesives should do the trick, but I'd rather they be done right!
