I don't get why you'all are so fixated at coming up with new codes. At the risk of being ostracized, the existing codes are actually right before your eyes, in the smilies, to be exact. (Clue, it's not yellow nor of Chinese ethnicity)

This actually happened to me once. Not so much MC but I saw this guy at a New York Airport browsing Muji and I was 90% sure he was either a sufu or SF guy. It was an awkward 5 minutes when we walked around the store looking at each other's wallet fades and the selvage on our jean cuffs.

Is it the equivalent of

"What did you see?"
- "a marroquian I saw!!!"

just with another famous SF quote (the above would make for a good code btw) ?

Corniche loves Marroquians must be the code...

I am discovering that the secret code is to say:

"I am a noob here, but have a fistful of money that I would really like to give you for any crap you wish to sell me".

It's making me a lot of friends.

It takes more than money with me ... but then ... I'm not into sales.

After lurking here for a few years, I'd say that mentioning Foo or Vox Sartoria has to be considered a de facto SF secret code. It would be very difficult to be a regular reader of the forum without picking up on those names.

Dont let them try an kid you about a bloody code its all smoke and mirrors....

Its very bloody simple as its merely a secret greeting...... you walk up to who you think maybe
a SF member, grab his member and say "I see you dress to the left!"

If he replies "I certainly do !" Hes with the SF !!

If he smacks you on the nose hes not.

If he simply moans hes with AAAC.

You guys are going about this all wrong. Are you really going to go up and talk to everyone that has a dimple in his tie knot or other signs of proper dress? The way to do this would be with a strip of fabric, maybe grosgrain that people can sew onto their clothes very descretely. Think Gucci green/red strip. However, since doing this to a whole woredrobe may be too much, why not a metal iglet (in bronze or some unique color maybe) we can buy here for our shoes or other very small thing to tie on near the laces? As for loafers, I'll leave that up to others to come up with an idea. I'm serious because a conversation thing is going to be in the negative for 99% of the people you ask and you'll get discouraged.

I recall this same thread and an agreed-upon 'code' from at least 4 or 5 years ago. It was pretty damn funny and I have been waiting to use it since then.
