Hmm... interesting elements, but I'm not sold on the shirt. And the sweater stands out perhaps just a bit too much.

Also, you need a real felt hat.

I REALLY dig this, Mike. Love the color and texture of the SC.

Sounds like you found what you were looking for. Unusual (for SF) combo of suit and tie color, and I really like it. Not sure about the shoes from the profile ...

You really need better photos to get any kind of feedback. You can't tell anything from what you posted.

No, it's a house linen from MyTailor.com

You're just jealous - I've been to Germany in February and it's not good.

About your fit - I still can't figure out what you are doing. I know you're having fun with it, which is great, and all. But there must be at least some convention? Your individual elements are good - so obviously you have some standard. But your combining often looks like you totally don't care. This is an example. Take away two or three elements, and you look really stylish. Like, turn your head stylish.

gregaz's outfit is clean, simple, and fits well....it would make sense that you don't like it.

Welcome to the thread Upr. I like your personality and receptiveness to feedback. The shirt here looks pretty baggy (and not pressed enough) but you are a welcome addition to the thread, and look comfortable in what you wear, not just dressing up for the internets.

Perhaps you will consider an entry to tomorrows challenge?

Sure are... I may toss them in my next closet clean... got my eye on something else, but they are awesome shoes.

Appreciated, sir.

Otherwise - clean shaven, new hair - what caused the change?

@SpooPoker: I'm a little bit jealous of the perfect crease in your trousers

Thanks Gents, I will try my best to keep posting regularly. Agree with the coat, it is one of my ultimate bargain finds on B&S. Got it for about 100 bucks basically new. It's fully canvassed and just feels really comfy to wear.

It's already Friday in Shanghai, so I thought I'd get a jump on the "Friday Stripes Challenge". This is my first "What are you wearing..." post. Please let me know what you think.

Welcome, I'm new on this thread myself, so I'll keep my comments short.

I like the way this looks on you. Very nicely fitting. Being nitpicky, I may have opted for a slightly different tie. Having said that, it's a really good look on you.

Look forward to seeing what you're rocking next time.

Cheers

Will definitely let the hat go...and about the combining: it´s a process of trial and error.

It does not make sense! Clearly gregaz has been looking better in the past. Take his previous post with the brown sc, for example.
I´m pretty sure he gives a damn about my critiques, which is just fine: alas, that won´t stop me from telling my sight on things going on in here.

Now THAT makes sense.

Yes, point taken. The shirts with curling collars will be replaced over time...

Nothing specific. Just feeling like taking a step back on my journey to sf-approved combos. Last one: fail
