Thinking of picking up some RO Anfibio boots. Do these fit true to size? Are they worth the money?
I wear a 43 in Mcnairy boots, so I was going to go with the same.

Also interested in this. Kunk? If you don't mind, could you pm the link (if there's more than one, of course)?

How versatile are these? OK with darker jeans? Any color chinos/cords?

Or should I go for these?

definitely the second pair. First pair is alot less versatile and looks messy.

I prefer the Aldens, wanted a pair of them for awhile. The C+J are much more cleaned up.

i bought a pair in sz 42, probably could of sized down 1 or even 2.i usually wear a 41 in cp-soled stuff, 42 in mmm gats. the toe box on the anfibio is huge, and even with sizing down it should accommodate a wide foot.

i really liked the ones ln cc had in the beige colourway. there long gone tho..

I think you will find the Natural much more versatile than the latter. They will age beautifully as well and you'll worry less about the occasional scratch or accidental curb scuff.

Some more on Alden's natural..(limited, but possibly relevant to your immediate interests).

Agreed. If yoy want a versatile casual shoe (and it seems like you do based on your wanting to wear them with jeans, cords, chinos etc), these would be the way to go. Although, the second pair could be equally as versatile if you wanted to use them for a more formal business setting.
