OK, now that you've come to grips with that - yes, it's true - it's only for a year or so. I'm reorganizing a lot of finances and the V was the biggest financial payment I could do without and the Explorer was cheap and fit the bill for some home projects. Longer term, say in a year or two tops, a gently used '10 V will do nicely (especially if it's recertified and under 50K!).

One upside of the Explorer is that, since it's a truck, it's absolutely alien from the V. All the cars I thought about getting, every time I touched the gas pedal I cried ("I'm giving up my V, for this???"). But in the X I don't even think about it, it's just a whole different thing. That makes it tolerable for me to get through the next year+ without "my baby" (sniff!).

hey, i've been there. no bigs!

I went from the CTS to a mini cooper S clubman. talk about different animals. same reasoning though. cut huge overhead and make due until the time comes. the time has nearly come for a new 2011 CTS-V coupe.

I'm not a baller. Kinda of poor in fact. Just a joke on the 35k millionaire, who all apparently drive a G 35.

damn, that seems kinda mean spirited. 35k isn't a bad living really. and really, not a bad car. i test drove one and would have bought it but i'm a caddy guy at heart.

Hate the 350z but man they really made a sweet car with the 370.

Only thing I don't like about the 370z is the profile straight ahead or back. The side windows look almost straight up and down. But from every other angle the car looks sweet as hell.

See what I am talking about, not a very flattering angle.

Oh I should be adding 2 new cars to my little collection. One ugly ass 4x4 and one classic luxury car. Should be picking up the 4x4 in a week and the luxury car in 4 weeks.

^It is a pretty ugly angle. Almost looks like an SUV. First pic I've seen of the 370z where it didn't look great.
