i was just looking at that jil coat on aloha rag. bolied wool--is it warm enough for a winter jacket? im looking at either this: (this is boiled cotton) http://www.oki-ni.com/mens-jackets/b...vt/bbs0613blk/ or the rick scuba in bolied wool. i think its a better alternative to leather, but i havent had anything in BW. also i want to go with a bomber style jacket, as per the apc fiasco

Not that specific one but Jil coats i've seen are tts. If you wear a 40 in a suit, get a 40. It doesn't accomodate for much underneath though.

And no, the ones I've seen are nowhere near thick enough to withstand a snowy winter.

Rick Owens on Yoox, both are in a sz32 "corduroy-velveteen" -
Anyone know how these run in terms of sizing?

How versatile are these? OK with darker jeans? Any color chinos/cords? Or should I go for these?

Does anyone actually like how this sweater fits IRL? I returned mine - it was a mess.

The aloha rag site has measurements for each item. Why not just go by that?

This is a dramatization of my own recollection of how it fit
