Prices are decent (cheaper than Henry Bucks, DJs and McClouds, but obviously not as cheap as online) and they're having a sale at the moment - they've got quite a few of the Loake 1880 range priced around $300, with the Grenson's slightly more.

If it wasn't for my new found obsession with Vass, I would certainly drop some cash there.

$300 for 1880 isnt a bad price at all o.o
That's just a tiny bit more expensive than how much Mcclouds seem to sell their Designs for and not much more expensive than if you buy them off pediwear or herring. Mmmm Dorchester.

Has Ethan left Herringbone Sydney or something? It appears as if he's at WW Chan according to his blog.

He's moved to Hong Kong and is working at The Armoury. A real loss to Herringbone IMO

No way! When did this happen? Who's going to sort me out now? I was going to get him to put something together for me for the coming month. Does anyone else at Herringbone CQ know what they're doing? Does his departure have anything to do with the "˜made in china' thing? I remember him writing about leaving if the quality went downhill. I'm equally confused and devastated.

I think that he felt that it was time to move on - new horizons, new opportunities etc.

I certainly agree that it is a great loss to Herringbone.

Yes. Ethan is winging his way to Pitti Uomo at present but as noted, will be back in HK in a little while and then back in Sydney in a little while longer, to take up some new employment.

Socks arrived today... finally

Bought some Pantherellas from DJ's in down town Perth last week. Which one of you guys took all the decent ones!? Looked like a bomb site.

- actually the quality of the suits improved when production went to China, its the other areas such as ties & shirts that went the other way as production was moved to Tunisia & Vietnam

- RTW gets very tiring on the seller & the MTM option as is a good step. Also less tire kickers as it is by appointment only
