OP feeling left out of the trend.
The fact is the majority of men in the US are wearing pants (and shirts... and jackets... and on and on) two sizes too large anyways. Wearing something that fits you proper is the first step. Skinny fits are usually much more flattering than people donning "relaxed" stuff. I mean, if you really want to debate something, what the heck is that crap?
Skinny jeans are, frankly, for skinny people. If you can't wear it, that's what straight legs are for. Get over yourself.
What's more, personally think the majority of guys in the US are a little too keen on being "beefy," as an excuse for being "fit." Maybe you can bench press a tractor, but at the expense of not being able to run for more than 20 minutes?
