You may have OCD. Consult your physician. Also I would like to point out that there are children starving in the world.

Not to snark, but I'm going to, the plastic magnetic catches at the top of the cabinet are really jarring for me. This is a painstakingly crafted cabinet nearly ruined by 2 dollar walmart catches (or at least it looks that way). Wasn't there a more elegant way of holding the doors shut? Lots of Tansu hardware available that would have fit in better, in my opinion.

didnt notice that until now. is it really such a concern though?

Of course not, but if you're going to do it then do it right. The simple solution would have been to hollow out a piece of teak and place the magnets in that. That way you would have had a nicely shaped block of matching wood rather than metal or plastic catches. Much more elegant.
There are no known images of Metro. If not, Mr. Sam Im sure would be on it.
