the other suit from last night, which was shorter and had a higher button stance. also fuller pants.

I also tucked my chin in to give myself a charming double chin

Looks better overall. Waist needs to be cleaned up and the usual sleeve and leg alterations. Hopefully you have a good tailor who can take care of that.

I'd agree with this. It's also less distinctively Jil by Raf. It's up to you. You could get either tailored for a better fit. This second suit is the safer option. If you are planning on using this for work, a date with a nice girl, stuff like that, go with the second suit. If you are planning on wearing this to more fashiony events, go with the first. It would have to have be adjusted to be bigger and boxier in the jacket, and the pants ought to be let out as much as possible too. It's really supposed to fit that way.

I want to keep this one "jil" if possible. What do you think about cuffs for the pants? I cuff everything, but the runway photos never have cuffs. I will leave some break in the leg.

I might shorten the sleeves a bit but not much and don't plan to show shirt cuff. My tailor strongly encouraged me not to shorten the sleeves on my Jil blazer "because you don't do that to a Jil Sander coat."

WM cardi arrived, awesome. Fit is perfect. The fabric is more technical than I expected, so that was the one surprise.
