suede shoes - post 'em here!

Hey!

This is my first post here, I have followed this forum for a couple of months but have never posted before so here it goes...

I got these from Herring Shoes, they are made by Barker

They are what Herring Shoes calls tan waxy so my question is: are they a kind of suede?

okay boys daddy got new shoes grenson masterpiece made for paul stuart color is listed as "mid brown". indoor cell phone pics. under overcast IRL they are more a yellow-copper shade.

Great price on these Peal & Co today but I'm not sure I love the shade of brown. Also, I'm 99% sure these are made by Alfred Sargent.......does anyone own the Cranford in this color? Damn, the Cranford looks awesome and in a G width for my wide feet! Sadly, I blew all my money on a pair of Desert Boots, 3 pairs of moleskins, and an MTO Trickers.

What are your thoughts on wearing suede balmorals with denim?

I think you can pull it off in suede but I dislike calfskin/cordovan bals with denim for the most part.

Am I wrong to think suede bals should stick to suits and less dressier days involving sport coats (for example)?

*note: Grensons above look awesome with denim actually.
