I really like this shot, Rob. This is dressy casual done right. Of course, Italians do seem to do this well naturally...

I didn't really prepare, and I have to rush to get out of the house, so I'll just go with what I posted a few days ago.

@ Holdfast: it's all RL (minus the PS & shoes) @ satorialism: suit is the Bleeker cut, and the pants are slimmer than the other Polo models.

This is a really weird choice for an odd jacket, but it looks excellent. I always wondered if one could pull off a DB with peak lapels while wearing jeans, but I guess this proves it. Not only that, but you did it with light jeans; very risky, but it came out looking rather Italian and works extremely well.

UC: good choice for represently your style, though I remember one with a brown suit from a few weeks ago that probably just edged it compared to this one.

Not the outfit I would have picked for you (the one you won the weekly contest, with the killer scarf, was my favourite of yours) but I like your logic behind picking the image you chose. Gotta stay true to yourself.

In that same vein, I defaulted to my personal stylistic choices for my entry to the competition. It is actually from today, worn to go out to lunch with a friend earlier and pretty much hits my default style. MC elements but with some eccentric/flashy non-SF elements, and some non-SF aspects of fit/proportion (such as a slightly longer jacket, somewhat fuller trousers, and not showing as much cuff). I'm happy with it as my entry, representing my personal style:

To celebrate the last day of the year: a jacket that's too large (just lost lots of weight) and pants that are too snug (I anticipate losing more weight, please G-d).

My choice for my personal best for 2010 - it pretty much summed up what my style has evolved this year to be.

Spoo, no matter what you've put on this year, it has been easy to see what you're trying to achieve. Sure some outfits are better than others. But, to me, it's comparing a 8/10 - 9.5/10. Still a A* in my book.

Look forward to seeing your continued development in '11.

Spoo, sorry I will most likely not be able to contribute today. By the time the tux goes on, we are out the door to festivities at friends house.

I'll sail into the new with an old pic. Happy New Year all.
