Came back home to newport beach from san diego today.
The boardwalk in newport is a hell of a lot flatter than where I am from in San Diego. my legs are gonna miss the hills -
8.2 miles in 53 mins to close up a 78 mile week . . . . . highest mileage for a week yet.
Off to beaver creek on tues where I am going to try snowshoeing at elevation.

WOW. Good luck with both the snowshoes and the elevation.

Running has been so spotty this past week, but today I broke out of the funk with a steady 6.7 miles in 48:32.

Half-marathon in 33 days.

Im up in the Twin Cities, wow, there is so much snow here its laughable.
I didnt run yesterday or today due to the cold I got.
Im hitting it hard tomorrow on some trails up here.
Got tons of new running wear for Christmas, time to put it to the test.
I will take lots o pics, as the snow drifts are 4-6 ft high.

I run to the gym and back 3-4 times a week. I used to do cross country in high school, and I run probably 2-3 miles total each time I go there.

An enjoyable pre-sunrise 6 mile run around the pond. On the iPod, an enjoyable performance of "Messiah" courtesy of an esteemed SF member! Temperature, a balmy 29 degrees and no wind. A pox on those who do not shovel their sidewalks. Looking forward to a mid morning New Years Day 5K.

And that, my friend, is why I've been doing the treadmill these last few days.
