ah dammit. I ordered both the tweed blazer and the pants but I also called customer service and had them put a note on the order so I can return the pants for cash instead of credit, because of the ambiguity. still, it's a pain to have to ship them back.

there's pretty accurate measurements at the patrik ervell site, you can compare with one of your own jackets. I have tried the unstructured in a 36 and thought it fit great, but I'm not sure how the standard compares

Dammit, I had resigned myself to not getting one. Now to decide whether to cop... do the sleeves and body run short on these?

Sleeves do run short on the ervell knits but I wouldn't say VERY short.

Regarding ervell blazers, I am not sure whether sizing up is the best idea. The blazer for sure fits slim and smaller than the tag size but I usually wear 38's and 38 in Ervell blazer fits pretty good (i wouldn't wear it buttoned up). I had a 40 ervell blazer which i sold because it was little too big on me and the 38 I am currently selling NOT because of the fit but I just bought the BoO navy school boy blazer.
