Anyone in and ready to lead the NPC for Jan 2011? I heard about an interesting study on the radio about delayed gratification in children, studied found the kids with the most self-control were the best at finding distractions to focus on instead of the object of their desires.

This is like that 30 day fasting thing. It may lead to mental delusions and require hospitalization, especially if I miss out on any good sales.

Wrong month. The sales are the perfect excuse to indulge in RTW stuff (though I confess that I have two fittings this week and am about to place a couple of other sportcoat orders).

Word. I find that this time of the year, the righteous guilt/no purchase indignation tends to set in...but its absolutely the worst time of the year for such integrity. can we put it off til april when all the buyer's regret has already flooded B&S?

Delayed gratification doesn't really apply when the things you want are rare-to-unique. You either get it when the opportunity presents itself or never. There are very few second (or delayed) chances.
