I believe that the "Peyton Manning face" is the ultimate decider here:

Then it was the Boston Bruins, I remember the late 90's when Ray Bourque had to run (not walk) out of town just to chase a championship because he knew Boston wasn't doing ****. Also playing hockey in Boston seems to turn you into a thug (see Marty McSorley) I'm not saying he was a saint before he got to Boston, but he wasn't a felon until he played there.

Before Tom Brady the only thing the New England Patriots were famous for was having the second most gay old school helmet (followed only by Tampa Bay) and for being destroyed by the Bears in the Super Bowl. William Perry scored a touchdown on you fools!! But good job keeping Payton in check that game, what did you lose by 40pts?? In the Super Bowl??? The only other time I felt that sad for the losing team was when the 49ers crushed the Chargers.

The Celtics are the Celtics, you had arguably one of the top 3 players in the histoty of Basketball in Bill Russell and the city treated him like ****. Welcome to Boston.

feeble excuse for 86 superbowl loss but here goes: John Hannah played that game with two separated shoulders. Ditka's very negative quote about Hannah went something like "If he's one of the greatest of all-time, Perry is______!" I know that pros in all sports have injuries that aren't revealed. I remember Dr.J showing up for his summer camp at UMASS back in the early 80's with a soft cast on his forearm for an injury he suffered prior to a playoff series in which the sixers lost to the Celts.

yea but this comparison in reality pits

Peyton Manning (by himself) vs. Tom Brady + Belichick + New England Pats

sure brady has more rings, but manning masturbates alone - No Boston circle jerk for him.

Manning had Harrison and has Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark. In Brady's defense I don't think he's ever had a top tier WR or TE.

2007-08 season: 98 receptions, 1493yds, 15.2YPC, 23TD, 0 Fumbles.

I'd take that on my team.

And the double or triple coverage that he gets freeing up everyone else on his team.
