Bond, right? There isn't some other Saks for Him that I don't know about, is there?

Good timing. Let me know what you think as I'm curious to see if you catch any of the same comparisons that I did.

Wow, I just went back and checked out your description. Rien smells completely different to me! I don't get anything like Premier Figuier at all. I don't get any fruity notes, or anything sweet for that matter. I get a very bitter, unpleasant leather. I certainly will not be buying a bottle of this!

Leather? Wow, I wonder if I ended up with a sample of something else. DEFINITELY not leathery.

Just checked the notes for Rien over at Basenotes:
Incense, Rose, Leather, Iris, Cistus, Oakmoss, Black Pepper, Aldehydes, Cumin, Patchouli

Sounds like we're describing two completely different fragrances. My description seems to make sense based on these notes.

I've been on a carnation kick for the holidays, so rotating Caron Bellodgia, Aramis JHL, and Guerlain Terracotta Voil d'ete... three scents that really do carnation well. (Caron= Carnation with vanilla and warm spice; Guerlain= Carnation with earthy depth; JHL= Carnation with oriental/ambery notes.)

You might be right. Definitely didn't smell like that.

Strong use of unknown scents in this thread. I've never even heard of that scent! Is it made by the popular rock ensemble that also goes by the name of Creed?
