Do you cuff your jeans?

Depends on many factors I think. Funnily enough I was just posting about this in the Samurai thread. My new samurai 710s. To cuff or not to cuff, that is the question.

Depends on the day of the week, the phase of the moon, and the previous night's top stories on The News Hour with Jim Lehrer, in addition to hem width, inseam length, and footwear. I always single-cuff my Nudie RRDS and stack my KMW Rockers. On the fence about my Samurai 710s and SExSC06s. I've gone with a single cuff on each, and I just switched to stacking the Sams. Don't think I'd go with a double-cuff, since a single shows the chainstitching and roping at the hem in addition to the selvage on the outseam.

99% of the time cuffing jeans looks marsupialed. 100% of the time from pics i've seen on SF.

when the snow is deep

I stack when the jeans are straight leg or skinny. I cuff when they are bootcut or "flared"

Definately stack on those Sams, inseam length is great and slim cuts are good for stacks.

I only ever cuffed if I was wearing jeans at home with no shoes. But then again I wore baggy low-riding jeans for 30 years (yes, THIRTY YEARS) cos I was reppin' Compton. Then I found SF, and stopped wearing jeans. Then I found SW&D, and got a pair of straight-legs and a pair of slim-fits. My wife is impressed as she can see the shape of my bum. My sisters say I look really slim. Socially, I'm not in a situation where other women's opinions of my "jean fits" has any impact.

The jeans are SELVEDGE, son, and JAPANESE by U-no-hu (clue). They are cuffed about half an inch, as they came shipped. I think this means cuffed is SF-approved.

In my world, nobody notices, just as they don't notice my leather-soled shoes, slim-fit shirts, non-black non-navy woolen trousers or IWC. Just as well, as I'd have to stop wearing all these if anyone actually noticed. I guess it makes an over-all impression though.

cuffs are weird looking

stack like flap jacks.

I hate double cuffs and if theyre thick it just looks butt ugly. Some people dont realise how baggy their samurais are even when cuffed and it's just painful.

depends on your height, other factors apply as well. my recollection is that these are best cuffed. post a pic of yourself wearing them for further input.

here's them 514s hemmed to 30 inseem which is my 501 jeans no cuff

I think because the denim is still a little stiff they don't look as good. Plus I think you were right about the 514s are better to cuff cause they aren't skinnies.

Cuffed flares sounds awful. Soetimes I cuff bellbottoms when I'm at home and shoeless. I also cuff my foreskin.

Cuff straight 33-34 inseam, stack 35+ tapered.
