Hi All, im new to this forum and this is my first post...

I'm a heavier medium build, approx 5'10"... Just wondering if there is a style of suit that would be look good on me... i'm not "fat" but i definitely cannot fit into those slim style suits that are made these days... any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

How much are you willing to spend? If you're on a budget you can always buy suit separates and have them altered to fit perfectly.

I'm 5'9" and have a similar problem. I wear a 46 suit, but have found that I can order through multiple sources a 46 regular jacket with 38" short rise pants. Canali is my typical go to for this. It essentially works as a made to measure program available at most of their large retailers. Also, I don't know if you were asking which style of suit works best for those of us who are a little on the athletic or rounder side of things, but I find a 2 button, with the top button a little higher but not equivalent to say a 3 button works best for me. The best of course would be to visit a good tailor, but if that doesn't work than I find the above to haved worked for me the last few years.

Just my 2 cents.

Hey thanks a lot! yes, I was referring to the style... I seen a nice double breasted suit online but didnt want to take the chance of ordering it if it was not going to look good...

My budget around $1000 give or take...

I've never really been much of a suit man, but i'm looking to redefine my image and I figure this is the best way to go...
