Don't you have a Uniqlo moto? Expand your horizons bro. At any rate, it's going to be hard to find something nice and in your size for <700. Maybe check for some of the American mid-tier brands, Lova, Shipley and Halmos, Rogues Gallery? J Lindeberg maybe...dunno. Might be able to find Rag and Bone. Maybe MMM on B&S.

tbh, I don't think it's smart to drop $700 on a single item. I mean, do you really feel like you have a solid sense of how to dress yourself / where your wardrobe is going? You could get a ton of nice **** on b&s with $700 if you're patient and know what to look for.

^Meh, GN has been here awhile and he prob has wanted this for awhile. Not saying his style isn't gonna evolve, but you know. And how much nice stuff can you get on B&S w/ $700, like 2-3 pieces or 1.5 outerwears? I say go for it, if you've budgeted responsibly otherwise lol.

Plus TOJ has pretty damn good resale value.

I've been experimenting/dicking around for a while and I know for a fact I want a black leather moto that fits me right. Pretty much more than anything.

That said, I'm not a fan of the passants on this year's outerwear. Otherwise, hard to level accusations of overdesign. Most of the details are hidden and/or functional.

Just got last fall's Jonas in the mail. This fur collar makes me feel like a post apocalyptic pimp, in a good way. Thumbs up all around.

I'm really trying to find a nice way to say that I don't think you dress well and a $700 leather isn't going to help you. But if it makes you happy I can't hate.

Not gonna be mad at that comment, as all you have to judge me by is my awkward fitpics, which are admittedly **** through a combination of plebeocity, bad photos, and the fact that my only fitpics are using things I'm not sure about.

I know what I like and I look pretty damn good IRL. Plus I no longer have a plebe salary, so I think I can ball out in a $700 leather.

You might try to see if there are any vintage shops that specialize in leathers. There's a shop like that near where I live, they have some really beautiful pieces.

I agree about the TOJ, but I disagree with the part about not being able to get much on B&S/ebay with 700. You just have to be patient. My post in RP yesterday of: F+B boots, Jil cash-silk tneck, current season BoO shirt, MMM wool knit, and PS shoes = Less than 700. Actually I think it might've been under 600... edit: Also, I can see a moto working well for GN, seems like it would fit his personality/ what he seems to want to do.

I mean, I've been playing with this for a while. This is an older fitpic with the PU leather moto i got from ebay. I like the way it looks and I want to invest in the best version of "the real thing" as possible. Plus I got a little too big for it.

I don't foresee GN's style changing that much in future so a TOJ moto to replace that pleather ************* would be a fairly solid choice.
