Whenever I think of modern nice-looking and SLIM fitting, affordable suits, I always think of H&M or Zaras and I even went to go check out suits that they had. Their suits fit perfectly except for one problem: its a bit too long. H&M and Zaras don't make 36S, they only have 36R so all the suits length don't exactly fit the best.

Don't get me wrong, their suits are shorter than average anwyays, but not as short as I'd like since I'd like shorter jackets to make my legs look longer

Anyways, are there any advice on where to get an affordable suit that fits like H&M and Zaras but is shorter? I noticed that some suits are actually shorter than others at H&M and I'm just waiting for the perfect one from them right now.

Target makes short sizes. I think that's the only cheap option us shorties have.

A tailor can shorten the jacket. I think this is the easiest route if you want affordable, slim fit, 36" chest suits, which are very difficult to find.

Why not? People buy clothes from thrift stores for $5-10 and spend more than that to have them tailored. Where else are you going to find an affordable, slim fit, 36" chest suit?

Depends on the quality.

True, however, you can only shorten jackets at most 1.5" before it looks unproportional.

Thats the biggest problem.

How tall are you, anyway? I'm 5'7'', and gave up on H&M a long time ago simply because their jackets didn't cover ******.

Based on your posts, I am surprised that you ever wore H&M. That said, I agree with your point that it is ridiculous that the OP can't find a shorter jacket at H&M.
