I don't know but I didn't like the gray shiny suit I saw him wear this week when he intereviewed Paul Rudd.

Why would you possibly want to know? Sartorially speaking, Letterman is best to be avoided.

This one was definitely Brooks Brothers. I believe from the Black Fleece line. It has Thom Browne kind of characteristics.

Doesn't he wear that same suit once every week? In fact, his suit rotation is small. Same for Leno. For the millions they earn, cant they at least look good on TV every week?

thought i read somewhere that his ties come from Ben Silver. I always thought his suits looked good, he just never seems to button the jackets.

The ties he wears are selected for TV. Not always the best for the office. Not bad for TV though.

Not surprisingly, you're wrong. He's from Indianapolis, about as generically Mid- Western
as you can get. Graduated from Ball State in Muncie- hardly Yale or Weslayan. But like
many mid westerners of his generation, he emulated the Ivy aesthetic, which is, of course,
old school Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, New Hampshire, Vermont, New Jersey,
Rhode Island, Maryland, Virginia, etc.
