Good memory... the greenies I passed at that time because the price was too high to roll the dice on a size. These were more in my comfort zone to toss to the wind to dial in the right size. Greenies will hopefully be post x-mas bonus

For the medallion, I dunno - I did some research and only found medallion versions. Have you seen it without?

cheers mate - i agree with you totally, i think it is nice to have a mixed batch of both shoes and clothes whether stylized or more rustic. moreover, i think it is import to have an open mind i admit that these are a channel tunnel away from my G&G's but i have my Vash which nicely in the middle with these on the other end of the scale

They look better than BB pictures, what last are they on? 325 or 240?

Nice! Looks great. I have a very similar pair coming from Ron Rider/Leffot in Mahogony shell. I kept on going back and forth between a stitched captoe like yours and a plain toe. I eventually went with the stitched cap so let's hope I'm right!

I think the right answer is...whatever you like!

I am a jealous of the mahagony, thats a nice color and if anything I wish these were in a lighter shell, but I think they will get there eventually.

I saw these in store and it was love at first sight. The classic lines, the rounded last and the antiquing sold me before I even tried them on. It's actually reminiscent of some of the more tamed Berluti shoes I've seen.

I usually don't go for Gucci dress shoes (most of them are pretty terrible looking.) But on these ones the leather looks to be pretty good quality and judging by the soles I think they are blake-stitched.

A salesperson at the store told me they are made by Ferragamo - can anyone verify this? They look to be built to Ferragamo Lavorazione Originale standards.
