Because of my pre-pubescent chest size (nearly Stanleyvanburen-ish), heavy sweaters work really well for me. But like Jet said, there's no point. It's like wearing an extra jacket you can't easily take off.Originally Posted by PaulYAY
I view a heavy knit sweater more like a jacket when there is no need for a true jacket to combat the elements. Cold clear day = heavy knit as a the top layer with scarf and gloves and good to go. Part of the reason why after a week of trying and pairing that huge SS Author Cardigan, I think I will be trying to style it more as an outer layer comfy super chunky heavy outer layer. Still debating, but highly moving towards this thought process.
