Not true at all.
my casual shirts have corozo buttons. more formal has MOP. It's all a preference

I think most people will agree that MoP is best for dress shirts. Some prefer horn for suits, others prefer corozo. Corozo has the advantage that it can be dyed any color, which means you can have navy buttons on your navy suit if you don't want plastic. I prefer horn for suits and overcoats myself.

That's why I stated it was my preference, lee. But I personally prefer MOP on all my shirts, but yes, casual can be a different story for many, I understand that. And horn for suits is essential for me. Again, it is my preference.
