I had some last night, and this really is epic.

Wish the price was more "wtso", I can find it locally for the same.

wtso has bad prices half the time... something fun i realized... cinderella wines is only a 15 minute car drive from work for the instore pickup... thus I don't have to buy the minimums for the free shipping...

also lastcallwines is really quick... I ordered from there once and received it the next day...

Excellent news. Just put 3 bottles of this into my cellar. Now have a mini-vertical going:

3 x 2004
2 x 2005
3 x 2006

Supposedly, the 2007 is supposed to be the best yet, but won't be released for another year.

This is one of the few CA cabs I still enjoy, though usually only if someone else is buying. I've never had a bad one, and the original, the 78, before it was designated as Hillside Select, may be the best wine I've ever had.

I had his Beauroy last week which was very nice and a few weeks ago his grand cru "Bougros" which was really outstanding. I'd say he's not quite up to Dauvissat, but pretty close and at much lower price. Highly recommended.

It's largely overpriced for what is it but it was an outstanding wine. A very chewy cab with incredible flavor.

I've really just now started to get into Chablis so any recommendations are welcome. I've had Fevre's low end range many of times but this was the first Grand Cru.
