They look good, it's just a shame the sole is useless in snow.

My Diemme's has a similar sole and they have taken permanent residens in their box until snow clears, as the sole was as useful in the snow, as a pair of speedos

I live in Saskatoon, SK and wear non treaded boots all the time in the winter.

Are those the leather or canvas model? I am thinking of picking up the canvas for Chicago snow but not sure if they are as waterproof as the leather or the ones with goretex/thinsulate liner in it.

Any info?
