ya that will be interesting for sure. one of my good friends was an opening day employee for them. I'd always meant to check the place out, but never got around to it.

but as far as bills go, I think the most I've payed for for a dinner is around 300 a person not including booze/wine. The most I've spent for a dinner date was probably butting on 900.

This is the most love I've ever seen for Screaming Eagle.

I only know what it is because my uncle buys and sells wines and he has tons of it in his cellar. I'm happy knowing that my palette isn't sophisticated enough to "appreciate" ungodly expensive wines. A vice I'll never have to worry about!

Well if you look at someone like Pio who is an oenophile, he isn't drinking the stuff every day. I think most of the wine he and most other wine lovers drink on a daily basis is far more affordable than Screaming Eagle.

$4,500 for 5 people at the Addison in Del Mar, California. Ate with some sommeliers so we had some supposedly extremely rare expensive wines with huge pours for each. After my third huge glass, I was drunk and couldn't taste the other 10 glasses. Food was meh.

My most expensive bill was at the Okura in Tokyo. Can't remember exactly how much it was, just that I was shocked.

The food was great, but not that great.

Or maybe it was more like $500. I can't remember. Doesn't sound like much compared to some of the bills in this thread.

It was reindeer medallions in puff pastry and rock ptarmigan with morels, along with 4 other courses, drinks, and a bottle of wine.
