The availability of Stone in Chicago has been great. Saison du buff was tasty.

I was in a Fox and Hound chain pub recently and they had Daisy Cutter on tap amongst the typical imports and macrobrews, what a great surprise.

Currently drinking this for the first time:

It was looking a little flat like BCS coming out at first so a little more vigorous pour resulted in a beautiful cascade and the fluffy head you see.

I'm happy with it, I think the coffee flavor is just right, not sweet by any means but not the day old coffee grounds that some people on beeradvocate got. Guess I was lucky with this bottle.

I can't get Russian River in Chicago, I had to trade to get 'em. I sit on quite a bit of beers for aging or trading purposes. Most people don't realize that beer can sit for months or even years and get so much better over time.

Yea, for sure. I thought there was some serious beer on the east coast NY/NJ but I cant find half the stuff I'm looking for.

Ask and you shall receive, Chicago is becoming a MAJOR hub of craft beer and if I can't get it in a store, I always find a way to trade for something...

I'm one step ahead of you, I checked it this morning. That was very fast and I will be shipping out next week for you, I have to finish a deal for the KBS and '09 Nemesis before I even send you a box. I am doing this in person, but I can't complete it until everything comes in the mail. I am tired of waiting...

they also had a "scraps run" and unfortunately I cannot remember the name of it but only 50 cases went out the door... I have a couple bombers waiting for me at my buddy's house.

Tooch, did you ever have a chance to check out shorts brewery when they had a few shipments to the area in may? Or ever had O'so from central wisconsin?
