I have, to my dismay, turned my back on the vast majority of glen plaid trou. I want to like them, and I often do in theory but not in application. They're just so eye-grabbing.

FAIK suspenders were traditionally considered underwear, and any attempt to pass them off as "fashionable" would indeed look contrived. Not sure it's SF approved or not, but, ahhhh...the no-belt feeling is quite nice.

Online MTM suits are not SF approved if you ask me. Most people chose to ignore the abomination that is the Indochino thread. Thick as Thieves is SF approved, but that's for SW&D and mainly because of the construction imo. As far as MT goes, I don't care if it's SF approved or not, but I'd argue it is for smalltimers. - Long pants that are too short. Let them down an inch and you will look like a grown up.
- No socks with leather shoes and long (ish) pants. Why would you do that?
- Making suggestions how gaudy designers labels or motifs are, but then posting photos and details of your designer labels... Just say that it is an oxford shirt rather than a [insert designer name] oxford shirt.
