My C&J Monkton single monks have been complemented the most, actually three times now that I remember.

But. Interesting to see if my new Cheaney boots (in fact Herring Langdale) will get more praise or not. Wearing them for the second time right now - no comments yet.

Better gemmed (and stitched) than wood-pegged,
if you want a 'spring in the step', that is!!!

Typical Austro-Hungarian wood-pegged shoe wearer.

My favorite thing about Reevolving threaks is that they read as if an alien anthropologist has arrived on Earth a few days ago and is desperately attempting to study human customs. Make that a cranky alien anthropologist who hasn't slept or eaten much during his journey. I love it, though. Few things on SF are more entertaining than when a quasi-hostile party attempts to crowdsource his personal taste. Try not to think too hard about the incongruities inherent in a man who will wear only what he thinks others will like, but who holds others in general contempt. It's best to microwave a batch of popcorn and simply enjoy the show.
