What about the jacket do you think is off in terms of fit? I spent alot of time at the tailor geting it to fit. Also, the pics did not best represent the quality of the fit, but I was taking them alone and finally said screw it and put up the post. They are all skewed to the side.

Feedback appreciated.

Mike

Can you please give us some of the history on the suit. Do you know the year it was made, or the weight of the tweed? English back, or straight? Was it an e-bay purchase? It looks new, especially the patch pockets which don't show the normal signs of bellowing one finds on worn jackets.

Absolutely amazing

Thanks

I'm sorry, MoK. (Thanks.)

I like the moleskin (just to pick one element). What's the name of the colour?

I bought it on E-Bay. It is from the '80s since it was from the Nutter RTW line, it is not a bespoke piece. I am not an expert on tweed weights, but it is heavy....very much a horseblanket. When I got it, it had these incredibly wide and flat shoulders. Not quite Pagoda shoulders, but close. I looked like Herman Munster in it. It has a single short vent in the back. I would say it was worn, at most, a handful of times. It might have never been worn. It really is special, and I was saving it for this challenge. It will now show up as a regular fit.

I appreciate the praise, and I agree. I am very happy with it.

Your best look yet, BB. Very well put together!

I also had a hat on today, green driving cap that was a perfect match for the green in my shoes, but I ditched it. I think I have quite enough going on in my fit already.

I'll let you off with the softy tweed, no sympathy for your 'early' start though

I like this. Great SC and the contrast with the trousers is just enough. Subtle but interesting.

That's a great Nutter and in wonderful condition. I agree with that noob Mr Corbera about keeping jackets unbuttoned when wearing a waistcoat.

Looking fwd to posting real pics again soon.

A nice jacket but you've definitely started getting the length issues sorted in the past year.

The tweed contest really is bringing out some great outfits. Since my last post, I also liked elements of bleachboy's and IST's looks too, and somehow I missed MoK's entry from earlier which has some lovely autumnal colours.

Great Parker.

It's interesting how many of you own this tweed garb that has never generally shown up in WAYWN... wondering how many of you don't routinely wear it. How often do you trot that out, Parker?
