They are purple. But it's difficult to photograph.

Here's my second pair. A chelsea boot based on the Corthay Wilfrid:

Love the wholecuts Roy. As you say, it's difficult to appreciate the purple in the photos but what a great colour choice!

I don't have any chelsea boots but I do like what you've done with the Corthay thing.

I would love to see if you could fit all of your shoes into a single camera shot

I hope that you get to wear them before the horrible winter sets in.

Enjoy (I'm not jealous, much -

The shoes you've put in a circle are simply mindblowing. I love them. Somehow they just look 'right'. I prefer the EGs over the G&Gs, but they're all incredible. It's a shame not to wear them! The purple looks almost black in artificial light. The purple only shines through in bright sunlight.

Yay or nay on these Lidfort shoes?

Special offer at 130 USD from threedifferent.com (they've had the Boglioli offer recently). I like the brand (bought 3 pairs from Yoox), but not necessarily this selection, some models are a bit fashion-forward, but they are well made in Italy shoes.

Thanks for the tip. Love the suede moccasins and just ordered myself a pair as well as a pair of blue loafers.

Don't really like the boots though.
