In my opinion, EJ could've quit after Tumbleweed and Madman and called it a superb career.

^^^ okay - two q's / comments:

1. How does Satie have 10 hours of content? Does he have some song catalog I've ignored this whole time? I thought Ciccolini's 2-disc set was pretty well everything.

2. I've thought about giving Richard & Linda Thompson a whirl but like everything Rolling Stone hypes in their best-of-lists, I'm a bit wary - how do you like that one?

1. I'm not sure, but it's there. Some of it is uninspired, but it's a good backing track for work. I just put the entire ten discs on random until it gets boring. 2. I'm not a huge fan, but I was in the mood for sedated folk this morning. Imagine the Mamas and the Papas writing the soundtrack for the last half hour of Million Dollar Baby. That's what it sounds like.

Miles Gloriosus, haven't heard either yet, but have heard good things. Will have to check them out ASAP.

Have been listening to a fair amount of Clutchy Hopkins as well, too good.

Am I listening to this snappy little tune that I heard in a J.Crew today while I returned some pants? Maybe. Maybe not.
