Album is incredible, probably his best yet. Press is loving it too, so far. Peace to the haters.

It's pretty good but not the best. He still hasn't bested College Dropout. Production is probably one of the best though, the beats are all crazy good.

Been listening to it non-stop for 2 weeks now.

College Dropout is my favorite Kanye West album and a part of me believes he'll never top that..

That being said, is MBDTF better than Graduation?

If I were to rank it, i'd put it the same if not slightly higher Graduation, but maybe below Late Registration. Definitely above 808.

You guys liked Graduation?

I thought it was incredible. This is a "better" album than college dropout but college dropout is still my favorite.

I found the production value on this album to be his best to date, I can say that much. That's the first thing that popped out at me more than lyrics or any hook. It's just so layered... Love the strings/piano wherever it can be found, and I feel that there is a lot more focus on instrumentation as a whole throughout whether it be those strings, piano, or even electric guitar in a few tracks.

I do wish that he didn't give us half the album through G.O.O.D. Fridays, though

Def would've made listening for the first time way more awesome. Like if I heard "Power" for the first time a couple weeks ago when the album leaked entirely instead of hearing it for MONTHS prior I would appreciate it so much more/say it was one of the best tracks on the new album hands down, if not the best (opinion lol) It doesn't even feel like a part of THIS album any more. If the album was 100% fresh and brand new, not half of it remastered giveaways, it would blow Kanye fans minds for sure. It's like we were desensitized! haha

If anything, I thought the production on Graduation was superb. But like RFX mentioned, I just wasn't feeling 808 all that much. BTW, is Watch the Throne still happening? Wassup wit dat?

Waiting for official RD to purchase & ride around in the car for a couple hours. Very exciting time to be a Kanye fan. G.O.O.D. Fridays aren't necessarily throw away tracks neither.

I've been listening to this constantly since it leaked awhile back. It's really, really good.

I love many a G.O.O.D. Friday track haha specifically "Good Friday" and "See Me Now" are such feel good songs. "See Me Now" is an iTunes bonus at least so I'm glad it's finally mastered.

I'm super excited for the upcoming tour

I disagree with this. Listening to the tracks ahead of time gave me a chance to warm up to them. I ended up liking some of the songs that I didn't really enjoy so much through GOOD Friday. They also gave an early feel for what the album was going to be like. Also, even though I heard Power over a month ago, I still think it is a good song that has lasting appeal.

I still can't warm up to "So Apalled" lol I want to of course. I agree "Power" has lasting appeal, I still think it's one of the heavy hitters on there, I meant in terms of the experience of listening to a new album completely unspoiled for the first time. Not spoiled in the sense that the tracks aren't as good as a result of being previously heard, though. More like, when I listened to the leak for the first time I actually SKIPPED "Power" because I was so excited to hear the new tracks. Who would ever want to skip "Power" under any other circumstance?! haha well now that I've heard the whole thing, of course I let it play again.

So Appalled is one of those sleeper tracks that one might enjoy after many listens. That, at least, was the case for me. Listening to it right now, I get this mid 90s Bad Boy x Wu vibe, with Kanye finishing touches.

Looking forward to the tour too. Was sorely disappointed after missing out on the GITD tour, so I bought the book as a sort of solace to my disappointment. I don't go to rappers concerts, or any for that matter, but GITD was an EXPERIENCE from what I've been told.

I'm a purist (or a dork)...am waiting for Tuesday to hear the whole album.

All I've heard is what's been released on the radio and on Runaway....and from what I can tell it's gonna be a good one.
