Thanks for the heads up. Adriano is on my list of places to check out. Will add Galati to the list also. What's sort of ball park price I can expect?
i went to Adriano Carbone a while ago. i wouldn't come back, and i don't wear the suit he made anymore. the cutting wasn't just old-fashioned (low gorge on the lapels), it was poor - armholes were bigger than off-the-rack, jacket was too long, pants were too big in the waist. i started the thread below to rant a bit about it.
what about Raja Fashions? They makes visits to Australia and you can get an appointment in for a suit. It got a plug on an issue of GQ australia.

Not necessarily but you might be better off with off the rack. A colleague of mine tried Raja in London and advised everyone against them. Poor cloth, ordinary cut: just not a particularly good product in his view (I saw the suit and agreed: he'd have done better and paid less with marks and sparks and a few quid on alterations, IMHO).
Has anyone tried the other carbine tailors ? Are they related to adriano?
The guys out in Brunswick, Melbourne?
