Sometimes he pulls it off well, but I think that for the most part he just fails miserably.

Camouflage pattern works much better with a dinner jacket, in my opinion.

Deal-breaker is that it's not supposed to have a ticket pocket.

Wooster is a brilliant marketer. He knows that a distinctive visual image is a trademark. Look how much he gets blogged. He gets identified worldwide. He knows exactly what he is doing and it's working.

As far as what he wears, he is the first to admit that he is following fashion trends because that is what his customers want.

Badass? I don't know. Smart? Absolutely.

^ I think a dinner jacket is too formal for camouflage, especially with satin lapels and pockets.

I really like Nick's camouflage suit - he wears it very well.

I have loads of friends with great style, and a few fashion designer friends -- sure they read up about clothing, but they take a lot of risks and try to carve out their own styles.

I dress quite preppy so am not putting anyone down for following a particular style, but i do think people on the fringe should be applauded.

+1

Why do some people on a clothing forum, of all things, have such illiberal attitudes as to how one should dress and what garments are or are not acceptable? Oh wait, it's MC.

It's refreshing to see someone with a truly individual sense of style and isn't afraid to take risks.

He seems to wear a lot of Michael Bastain. I believe that is the source of the camo jacket and his camo pants.

He's men's fashion director of the Neiman-Marcus group, of which Bergdorf is a subsidiary.
