finally tried out L'Artisan Al'Oud today. I smell exactly like a middle eastern man who hasn't taken a shower in 6 days. Can't wait for the drydown!
Thanks for the help Rambo. Perhaps it's because I'm just getting into fragrances that I like GV so much. Thanks for the other recommendations also. I will try them out. I really can't wear intense fragrances because of my work in classical music. People go nuts if something smels strong around them when they're playing. Of course, I could wear different thing when I'm not working, but the sensitive nose thing has rubbed off on me a bit! Cheers.

Actually...there are a few fougeres that ought to work: YSL Rive Gauche
