Is Kiwi Parade Gloss actually bad for shoes? I remember reading something about silicone compounds in Parade Gloss being bad for leather but looking at a tin of Parade Gloss, no ingredients are listed. Doesn't anyone here use Parade Gloss on high end shoes?
I only use high quality cream and polish: Saphir, Medaille D'Or from Avel. It really makes a big difference to use only high quality material if you have good shoes.
I woudl not advise you to do that. Kiwi Parade Gloss contains Silicone. It gives an excellent shine but gradually destroys your shoes.
Short answer is that it dries the leather and cause premature cracking. Avoid.
