Was set to run this morning but caught the news of Geb's dropping out of NYC and was strangely reluctant to run after that. My achilles is sore (again) but normally I tend to run through that sort of thing.

y-axis is 110 feet x axis is miles. Rest day yesterday helped. I am waiting for the insurance settlement from the accident that totaled my bike to go through, so I can ride for cross training. Can't wait to get a new bike

Be careful man...I ran through that until after one run i couldn't walk for a week. Wound up off the road for almost 3 months...just starting to get back in now, its still a little tight, but def not sore.

For me, I did the 11 miler saturday with a buddy and was gonna do 6 ish today, but last night I hit squats at the gym, and ooofa, gonna need to take it easy later. At least the derby is on! Come on Citeh!

Yeah, I've heard from a few friends about taking it easier - I've been stretching it a bit more than I used to (which was never) and it seems to be responding. This morning I took it easy at the start, warmed it up and it was solid for the next 6 miles.

Today, btw: 6.7 miles in 49:52

Ran the NYC Marathon on Sunday in 3:36:56. Not my best effort but it was a blast. I look forward to running it again next year.

Awesome man, I probably handed you some water at mile 12 in Greenpoint, by far the best aid station.

5.5 yesterday. Still need to take a day off at some point. Maybe today.
