I'm dying for a good suede monk/dbl monk... bring the Mora back please.
(Sure, I'd kill for a pair of Oundle's in suede but $$$ and as all the Brit shoes are too-wide for my b-width feet short of custom).

I would go for the Player's shoe from Allen edmonds. Very nice looking shoe, 2 shades of brown to choose from.

Am I the only one who thinks that the formality of a balmoral contrasts with the casualness of suede? On one level I know that suede balmorals (whether captoe, semi-brogue, or full brogue) are classics and that lots of people wear them, it seems inconsistent to me in some way.Originally Posted by hobscrk777
Funny, that's exactly why I like suede balmorals - that combination of formality and informality. I prefer them to suede wingtips and longwings. Though I'm sure it's against "Da Rules."

I really want a pair in Dark Brown and in Blue but I can't find a pair at a reasonable price.
