Does anyone have links to pics of the Sterlingwear coats in colors other than black and navy? There are 6 options but all the pics on the site are black and navy.

Has anyone here attempted to sew a stiffer fabric into your peacoat collar to help it stay popped? I'm having trouble popping the collar on my peacoat (it's from the Edward line at NY's Odin), and wondering if there are any DIY solutions.

FYI: I'm selling a small J Crew with Thinsulate in black peacoat BNWOT. Send me a PM if interested.

i just purchased a polo ralph lauren peacoat through their current sale, and i was wondering how the fit looks to others. i generally wear medium, but for the peacoat i sized down to a small and it fits pretty snug. total price came out to about $250 before tax.

People who know about J Crew's pea coat fit: I'm 5'11" 140lbs with a 36" chest. Do I want S or can I size down to XS?

I'm 5'11" 156 lbs and bought the J Crew peacoat in small. It is just a little tight for me in the shoulders if I layer heavily and the sleeves are JUST a bit on the short side though its not really noticeable. Rest of the fit is perfect for me...a very nice slim fit. Based on all that and your description I would go with the small. Plus you can always tailor if needed.

I don't like how any of the peacoats in this thread look.

It's more the opposite. The shoulders really bug me the most. I like your peacoat, by the way. I saw it in store and the quality seems really high. It actually feels nice, unlike most peacoats I've seen. I can't help the feeling that the fit is a little off on you, though. It might just be the camera angle.

I have a Barney's CO-OP peacoat that I also like the feel and look of, but it is a size too large. I haven't been able to find it in medium.
